Spring 2010 collection preview: new looks for Christmas

More and more, collections are launched earlier and earlier. It used to be that you couldn’t find an item of the season until after the sales, but now it’s possible to get your hands on spring clothing before winter is even here officially (or dress in autumn clothing before the summer holidays).

On the one hand, this “fashion rush” is quite stressful, and on the other it’s a relief and a consolation. When you’ve been seeing the autumn-winter collection since July, it’s great to imagine the good weather is coming. Even if it’s just an illusion.

You can now find a preview of the 2010 Spring-Summer collection in MANGO stores and some of the new suggestions are great for this Christmas. Especially the dresses, since they’re such timeless items. I like them all, although these three are my favourites.

One of my favourites is this two-coloured striped sweater with a pirate heart. It’s designed to be worn casually and it looks great with a puffy skirt like this one and is perfect for evening outings.
