The amazing Penélope Cruz needs very little to be dazzling. Normally actresses tend to choose impossibly expensive dresses for big events like the Oscars, but what if Penélope, now that the economic crisis is calling for caution and minimal ostentation, decided to wear a MANGO dress?

The Nine star is very familiar with the brand and MANGO clothing is thought out for a type of girl very much like Penélope: a real woman.

I’m pretty sure Penélope Cruz would choose one of Zuhair Murad’s limited edition designs. This Lebanese designer, a pioneer in MANGO collaborations and one of the favourite designers for the stars on the red carpet, thanks to his amazing evening dresses, repeats in spring-summer 2010 with a collection full of reminiscences of his home country, but with a strong disco touch (a mix I’m dying to see).
