What’s the most you’ve spent at MANGO all in one go?

I know we’re in the middle of an economic crisis and that talking about money is not the done thing, but I’ve always been very interested in the habits of shoppers. A few weeks ago, Victoria Beckham made headlines for spending 300,000 euros all in one go in one store. Posh justified this spree to her critics by saying that this was her own way of helping increase spending. And she’s right.
It seems easy to spend huge amounts of money on certain brands, but what is the most you’ve ever spent, say, in MANGO?
I tend to spend small amounts. I guess that way it looks like you’re spending a lot less when in fact, little by little, you end up spending the same as if you buy everything you want all at once. But this sort of “optical effect” of shopping is very common among those of us who get carried away by the psychological barrier of .90: if the price is 19.90 I’ll take it, while if the amount is rounded up, even by just a few cents, then I have to think about it. Ridiculous isn’t it?
As far as I remember, the most I’ve ever spent in MANGO in one go was 300 euros. And I paid by credit card, which isn’t quite so “painful”. However, I did get lots of things. That I remember perfectly. I don’t even want to think about what I would have spent if I’d had Victoria’s black Visa card. Half the store I suppose, and I would have been quite happy.
Can you imagine how great it would have been to take it all home?
And now back to the real world: tell us what your record is and what you got. Whether you had thought up what you were going to get beforehand or whether it was all spur of the moment and you were unable to stop. Whether you had an outfit in mind and got it or you improvised as you went along…
No exaggerating now!
