Shop at MANGO’s virtual store: discounts you can’t miss

During the sales the shops are packed at peak times, the stock is all over the place and shopping conditions are as bad as they get. Luckily, once the initial chaos is over by the end of January this isn’t such a big worry. However, you’re bound to be unable to find some of the items you where looking for, either because they don’t have your size or because they were taken right out of your hands.
The other way to do it is to use MANGO’s online store. With just a click, you can have the entire collection at your disposal, both Autumn-Winter 2009/2010, and the preview of Spring-Summer 2010.
Here are some offers you can’t let pass you by. Read more…
Five basic items for spring-summer 2010

Spring is nearing and it’s time to make a note of the clothes you should start thinking about. Fortunately, trends change less and less and you should have no problems using last summer’s buys next summer – it’s all a matter of recycling. But if you really want to start renewing your wardrobe you should start with the basics.
I’m placing my bets on dresses in romantic cuts, jersey fabric, platforms, striking prints and light trenches.
Your t-shirts, even more fun with MANGO

T-shirts are of the most versatile items in your wardrobe. They can be the most essential of basics or the key piece for a look. It all depends on the shape, fabric and print.
Although it will be a while before you see any good weather and renew colours and fabrics in your styles, this preview of MANGO’s spring collection will help you get an idea of what will be in this spring, so you can already start combining spring items with the winter clothes you’re wearing now.
In this collection preview, fun colourful t-shirts stand out and give your looks a youthful, lively and quirky touch.
Snoopy is fashionable, choose your MANGO T-shirt for this Spring-Summer 2010

In 2010, Snoopy, the legendary dog created by Charles Schulz, will be 50 years old, so a great number of brands will be paying well-deserved tribute. At MANGO in spring-summer 2010 the nicest little dog will feature on a series of women’s t-shirts which will be a massive hit.
And inevitably Snoopy isn’t on his own. He’s accompanied by his inseparable Woodstock, the small bird who, along with Charlie Brown, shares adventures with him. Read more…
Grey, a trend for spring dresses

The colour grey, in all shades, is going to be one of the strongest trends colour-wise for spring 2010. It’s not generally a colour that is associated with this season full of pinks and bright colours, but on this occasion it seems to be very fitting for the dresses from MANGO’s spring collection.
At times grey might seem too sober or too sad. Personally I think it’s a very elegant colour. And do you know what this colour stands for? Independence, self-sufficiency and self-control. It’s a colour for women who are strong and decisive, yet also feminine.
Here are some examples from MANGO’s spring collection. The top photo shows three dresses in three different shades of dark grey. These wide-cut dresses are figure-hugging at strategic points: waist, hips or below the chest.
Customise your t-shirts or go for the limited edition by Moises de la Renta

Everybody knows that more personalised items are in most demand. A bow, beads, sparkles, a necklace attached, a pendant… can all make the most basic of t-shirts stylish.
This is what designer Moises de la Renta is proposing with MANGO limited edition t-shirts for spring. They’ll hit the stores in March, priced between 25 and 35 euros. Read more…
The best-dressed celebrities of 2009: Diane Kruger, Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Olivia Palermo

Here at THINK UP Scarlett Johansson isn’t the only celebrity to be recognised as on the best-dressed list of 2009. There are a few runners-up to her amazing style credentials.
In 2009, German actress Diane Kruger was the best-dressed celebrity at all events. She shone like few could, with the best dress for every occasion. She has a way of making things look easy and is a natural when wearing the biggest names. Read more…
Let MANGO Outlet stores dress you for work: get looks for less and save money

I can’t think of a better THINK UP philosophy than this to start 2010 with. We love shopping, as long as we are getting things that aren’t strictly speaking necessary, but when it comes to getting outfits for work, things we really need and have to get, it takes the fun out of one of our favourite activities.
That’s why when looking for a “work uniform” it’s best to get the cheapest basics, so that you can spend most of what you save on clothes and accessories you’ll really enjoy. But this doesn’t mean wearing bad quality outfits that are out of fashion!
At MANGO Outlet stores you can get great suits for under 50 euros. If this isn’t a bargain I don’t know what is.
Find the perfect black dress at the sale for under 20 euros

It’s sale season everywhere in Europe and the best thing you can do is get a hold of that black dress which is such a help when you’re stuck: for meetings, presentations, graduations, job interviews, first dates, parties …
Let’s start with a basic black strapless dress. It’s knee-length, you can use it for formal occasions and it has a recommended retail price of 14.99 euros. Read more…
You decide which celebrity should design a collection for MANGO: which celebrity dresses and looks would you buy?

Whether we like it or not, we all have one or two celebrities we pay more attention to. Plus, there’s always one we like because of what she does (singing, modelling, acting or simply partying and causing scandals) but also wins us over with the way she dresses. Most of the time it’s easy to track down her looks and recreate them with items, for example, from MANGO.
But what if they were to design similar styles and you didn’t have to look for them?
Milla Jovovich, Elizabeth Hurley and Penélope and Mónica Cruz have already done this. Who would you like MANGO to collaborate with next?
