MANGO collaborations with designers are always amazing. What other high street brand can boast a collaborator like Zuhair Murad? None. Zuhair Murad and his limited editions are a treasure we hope to hang on to forever, it’s a real privilege to be able to access reasonably-priced designs worthy of the upper echelons of fashion.

Zuhair Murad’s latest proposals for spring-summer 2010 are proof of his great talent for party wear. I’m sure part of what we saw in Paris a few weeks ago will be reflected in his next MANGO collection.

What do models wear? MANGO, of course!

You’ll always be hearing rumours about how models only wear whatever freebies designers give them, but only a few privileged ones actually get to take their favourite outfits from the catwalk home.

Regardless of any urban legends about fashion, models are just like you and me: it doesn’t matter what impossible luxury, or extravagant trends they wear at work, when it comes to everyday shopping, they shop at the same places as the rest of us.

Does this girl’s dress seem familiar? Yes, it’s from MANGO. This photo was taken backstage at the independent fashion event “080 Barcelona Fashion”, where Lizzy Jagger was spotted – previously a face of MANGO.

If Penélope Cruz decided to wear MANGO to the 2010 Oscars, what dress would she wear?

The amazing Penélope Cruz needs very little to be dazzling. Normally actresses tend to choose impossibly expensive dresses for big events like the Oscars, but what if Penélope, now that the economic crisis is calling for caution and minimal ostentation, decided to wear a MANGO dress?

The Nine star is very familiar with the brand and MANGO clothing is thought out for a type of girl very much like Penélope: a real woman.

With this transition image, Diane Kruger shows us two things. The first is how comfortably you can dress to travel by plane, something we already showed you a few months back. It also shows that the New Year comes with more and more combinations.

While animal print was a must-have in 2009 and is still present on accessories, coats, shoes, etc., the country style is back to bring us a natural feel. Read more…

Five celebrity looks with MANGO items to copy this Christmas

10th+Annual+Latin+GRAMMY+Awards+Backstage+sTmyastE0hRl

We just can’t help it. Apart from seeking inspiration from the international catwalks, we love seeing what the best-dressed celebrities are wearing to try and copy some of their star combinations. But this isn’t always so easy, especially when trying to get a hold of their evening dresses.

However, MANGO makes it easy. Thanks to some of their models, in the festive season you can shine just as much, or even more, as your favourite celebrities on the red carpet.

Do you fancy becoming Eva Longoria, Natalie Portman, Christina Ricci, Jessica Szohr, Charlize Theron or Helena Christensen?

Dot stockings: yes or no?

When it’s cold you always have doubts about what kind of stockings to wear. Thicker, thinner, leggings … But this year there’s an additional problem: should we fully embrace the dot stockings trend?

Bloggers worldwide have said “yes”. International catwalks have also shown their approval and now it’s up to us to decide whether to buy them or not.

Court shoes or peeptoes are safe choices for combining with these stockings. They’re elegant and you can play it safe with them. But as it’s a case of a different take on fashion, you can also go for something more extreme, and wear dot stockings with flat shoes, moccasins, ankle boots, short boots… Read more…

Use t-shirts to create personalised cushions

How many souvenir t-shirts have your friends and relatives brought back for you from places they’ve been to? How many have you got from the more important cities? Well, you no longer need to use them only for lazing around at home. The time has come for you to create your own personalised cushions using t-shirts that say “Souvenir from…” or “I love…”

It’s very easy to do and you won’t see anyone else with the same cushions on their bed or sofa. Did I also mention it’s cheap?

The Smiths waistcoat

CHALECO SMITHS

You already know that leather jackets are back in fashion and that waistcoats will also be one of the items for winter. What do you think of today’s suggestion? It’s a Smiths padded leather waistcoat, with pockets and a zip, and which will add the modern touch to any look with its 80s feel.

What I like the most about this leather waistcoat is the pockets. I’m a huge fan. The diagonal zip is very attractive since, even if it’s partly unzipped, it still covers you. If you want to wear it one day as part of a sexy look, all you have to do is not wear anything underneath and you’re sorted! Read more…

If you’re planning on travelling to the United Kingdom or the States and you want to control your budget as much as possible make a note of this restaurant: Pret a Manger. It’s a fast food establishment, but the food there is very healthy, plus it’s cheap.

This restaurant’s philosophy is based on the use of completely natural ingredients free of preservatives. Plus, all its dishes are prepared on the day. Quite often when you travel you eat unhealthily to cut costs. With restaurants like these healthy eating needn’t break the bank.

Sandwiches are their speciality. You can choose from 51 different types, with varied ingredients. With so much to choose from you’re bound to have difficulty choosing just one.
