MANGO Spring-Summer 2010 catalogue with Sophie Auster

Sophie Auster (daughter of well-known writer and cinema director Paul Auster) is one of the new faces of the Spring-Summer 2010 MANGO catalogue, and is bringing a modern fresh breath of air to the Spanish brand.
Logically, for the upcoming months of good weather you’re going to need a cooler wardrobe once you’ve finally said goodbye to coats and the thousands of layers we’re all wearing to keep warm just now.
Yet again, we can yet again speak of ties with music. As well as being an actress, Sophie Auster is a singer, and for the MANGO catalogue she’s been photographed at a recording studio, as if in the most natural of modelling shoots. Read more…

Here are some offers you can’t let pass you by. Read more…

Don’t freeze for the sake of looking elegant at a party!

Everybody likes to turn up at a party looking perfect, but when the weather isn’t to your advantage, this is harder and you have to think of alternatives for wrapping up in the cold. You’re not likely to have that problem in the summer but at Christmas see who dares go out in a mini-dress and no coat.
To avoid freezing and needing a heater the moment you go anywhere, you should choose some of the looks seen at MANGO and worn by celebrities like Scarlett Johansson, Alexa Chung, Victoria Beckham or Sarah Jessica Parker, among others. Read more…
Asymmetric dresses for this Christmas

This Christmas you have all sorts of options for dressing up, as you already saw with the post on Blake Lively’s party looks. There are all sorts of combinations with either trousers or skirts as your star pieces. Although your choice will depend on the kind of party you’re going to, you can never go wrong with an asymmetric dress.
The best thing about these dresses is they’re a variation on the more classic and traditional themes of straps and formal cuts, while sleeves and different detailing give the dresses a different sort of look. Read more…
