When we suggested the contest “The best THINK UP idea” I loved reading all the original and affordable ideas you sent in. Your imagination and experiences gave us new ideas for being on trend without spending too much.

There were several suggestions I found very original, like the Fashion Swap Party, a brilliant idea I would like to share with you since it’s great to have one with your friends.

So, what do these three words mean? A Fashion Swap Party is a party where friends all get together to exchange clothes. It’s like going shopping with your friends, but at home and without spending anything at all.

The thing is, even though we are excited at the thought of swapping jeans and t-shirts for elegant outfits, the transition from casual to formal is not always as simple and exciting.

Most of the time, searching for the perfect look is quite an expensive exercise, especially if we have many events and our purses don’t stretch to such a large wardrobe. So, what is the best solution? Spend a lot on one dress and get our money’s worth by repeating it? Or, to have several cards up our sleeve and also be able to use these outfits again?
