Don’t freeze for the sake of looking elegant at a party!

Everybody likes to turn up at a party looking perfect, but when the weather isn’t to your advantage, this is harder and you have to think of alternatives for wrapping up in the cold. You’re not likely to have that problem in the summer but at Christmas see who dares go out in a mini-dress and no coat.
To avoid freezing and needing a heater the moment you go anywhere, you should choose some of the looks seen at MANGO and worn by celebrities like Scarlett Johansson, Alexa Chung, Victoria Beckham or Sarah Jessica Parker, among others. Read more…
Strapless dresses for this Christmas

Here are some more suggestions about what to wear this Christmas. You’ve already read about asymmetric dresses and the dresses worn by Blake Lively and Scarlett Johansson. And now there’s something else to help you choose a dress: the strapless trend.
These dresses are one of the best choices if you want to look elegant at a party and be the centre of attention, with those bare shoulders giving a touch of sensuality to the look. Read more…

Presentation of the Spring-Summer 2010 collection: celebrity catwalk and show
The fashion world’s calendar moves at a much quicker pace than the normal one. Although winter isn’t properly here yet, it’s already possible to see collections for Spring-Summer 2010.
This week the new MANGO, PURE LIGHT collection was presented in Madrid. It constitutes a 180-degree flip on winter aesthetics and gives a new slant on the more popular trends seen on the streets.
Many well-known faces attended the event, including Moises de la Renta (and his spectacular girlfriend), who was also presenting his limited edition t-shirt collection, designed especially for MANGO. Although the most eagerly-awaited presence of the evening was this season’s muse for the brand, Scarlett Johansson.
Get Scarlett Johansson’s make-up look from the Autumn-Winter collection

A few days ago we showed you MANGO’s latest trends for this Autumn-Winter 2009/2010 collection, brought to you by Montag and Scarlett Johansson. Just like we did for the actress’s first collaboration with the Spanish brand, here we examine her make-up so that you can copy it easily at home.
It’s discreet and very flattering, using mainly browns and nudes, and the focus is on the eyes. This make-up will suit you no matter what your hair and eye colours are, as it uses rather neutral shades. It’s also very versatile, so it’s very easy to match to clothes.
The eyeshadow shades used aren’t too intense or bright. You should use a beige base colour for the entire lid and then apply a mink-coloured eyeshadow over it, insisting especially on the crease to give the look more depth. Both these shadows must be matte.
Autumn-winter 2009/2010 fashion with Scarlett Johansson and MANGO

The woman of the moment for fashion this autumn-winter 2009/2010 is Scarlett Johansson, just in case you hadn’t heard. This American actress has been able to make her curves a point of reference and MANGO have chosen her to represent them worldwide.
To coincide with this partnership we already had a peek at the first trends from the Spanish brand modelled by Johansson. But that’s not all there is, since the winter months are very long and your wardrobe really has to be in good shape to deal with several months of cold weather. Read more…
Scarlett Johansson and MANGO, businesswoman look

MANGO’s current muse, actress and singer Scarlett Johansson, presented the fashion brand’s new collection a few days ago at The Charles Hotel in Munich (Germany). Her outfit was the perfect example of the complete businesswoman look.
It was clear she was there to work, and that she’s not only the face of the advertising campaign on paper and video, but is also an ambassador for the firm and looks perfect for it. Two simple items, a pencil skirt and a patterned blouse, and she’s all set for success. Read more…
Celebrity hairstyles: Blake Lively, Victoria Beckham, Scarlett Johansson, Penélope Cruz, Rihanna and Megan Fox, among others.

Quite often people want to reflect celebrity style embracing new trends. From Blake Lively’s elegant style to Rihanna’s more risqué rockier style, without forgetting MANGO girl Scarlett Johansson or new popular faces, like Megan Fox, who join the more established ones, led by Victoria Beckham.
And it’s exactly the same with hairstyles and haircuts. Their styles are copied by many who want to somehow reproduce them. Hairdressers know this and so do we. That is why we are going to talk about some of the main hairstyles, to get some tips for winter. Read more…
The cheapest trend this winter: torn stockings

Quite often fashion doesn’t follow the logical parameters of dressing and aesthetics. A lot of the time, what is usually considered a mistake or defect becomes a trend and no logical reasoning can do anything to change this.
You’ll understand what I mean when you look at the example of torn stockings, which are back with a vengeance after last year’s attempt at popularity, which was rather successful. Last winter, celebrities like Lindsay Lohan followed this trend which aims for a break with classic style. Read more…
