What’s the most you’ve spent at MANGO all in one go?

I know we’re in the middle of an economic crisis and that talking about money is not the done thing, but I’ve always been very interested in the habits of shoppers. A few weeks ago, Victoria Beckham made headlines for spending 300,000 euros all in one go in one store. Posh justified this spree to her critics by saying that this was her own way of helping increase spending. And she’s right.
It seems easy to spend huge amounts of money on certain brands, but what is the most you’ve ever spent, say, in MANGO?
Let MANGO Outlet stores dress you for work: get looks for less and save money

I can’t think of a better THINK UP philosophy than this to start 2010 with. We love shopping, as long as we are getting things that aren’t strictly speaking necessary, but when it comes to getting outfits for work, things we really need and have to get, it takes the fun out of one of our favourite activities.
That’s why when looking for a “work uniform” it’s best to get the cheapest basics, so that you can spend most of what you save on clothes and accessories you’ll really enjoy. But this doesn’t mean wearing bad quality outfits that are out of fashion!
At MANGO Outlet stores you can get great suits for under 50 euros. If this isn’t a bargain I don’t know what is.
What and how to buy in the sales during the economic crisis

After a quiet calm Christmas, here we have the first sales of 2010. Even in the middle of the economic crisis, which affects most of us, you can deal with this just like always by getting your act together so as not to waste money.
The circumstances are in our favour given that the global economic situation has been and remains unstable, making consumers reticent to purchase. Almost all of us have resisted the temptation to purchase, while waiting for this moment. All the more reason to establish a spending plan now that we are going to grasp at the sale period with so much enthusiasm.
The first thing you need to do is set a spending limit and stick to it. Depending on how much money you can (and should) spend you should then establish a list of priorities.
Tips to start 2010 in style: what to invest in and what mistakes not to repeat

Firstly: Happy New Year everybody! If you thought you wouldn’t have to put up with us on a day like today, you were very much mistaken. You should start this first day of the new decade in the mood for change.
Today, hangover permitting, is the time to make the evaluation we never did last night because we were too busy partying …
Although New Year resolutions are one of these things you never quite see through to the end, when it comes to style, there is less of an obligation. Without looking any further, last night could be seen as a mirror to look at yourself in… or not do it again. I’ll explain. New Year’s Eve is one of the most important dates on the calendar, and therefore a night you really glam up for. It’s also a night where you can overdo outfits, not just food and drink, and this is why it acts as a barometer of your style level throughout the year.
At Christmas and New Year, your most stylish and affordable look with items from MANGO Outlet

If you haven’t decided what to wear tonight or tomorrow, don’t panic. You’ve still got time to improvise a look at unbeatable prices. If you’ve been resisting buying clothes because of the crisis and had decided to only buy presents, don’t worry and go straight to your nearest MANGO Outlet store. There you’ll find proposals like the one below.
Can you think of a better way of putting the Think Up philosophy into practice this Christmas?
What can you buy at MANGO for 50 euros a month?

A few days ago our contest, “The best Think UP idea” ended. Lots of you entered, providing brilliant ideas and proving that, with the tough times we live in, the best way to enjoy yourself while getting by is by following your own Think Up instinct.
Although the winner won’t be announced for a few weeks still; I suggest you, the possible winners, start thinking how you’re going to spend the monthly 50-euro prize, to be enjoyed for 6 months. If instead of going to the store and buying the first thing that catches your eye you distribute your budget, those 50 euros will seem more like 500. These tips will come in handy for the winner, and for those of you who weren’t so lucky.
esMANGO conquers the Middle East: Iraq already has a store

This may seem strange but a country at war like Iraq needs to gradually get back to normal. Fashion is quite a common form of escapism.
That is why I was pleasantly surprised when I heard the first MANGO store had just been opened in Iraq, in Erbil, a Kurdish province.
It’s not surprising to know that fashion is just as popular whether you’re in the East, West, North or South. The latest fashions are also present in Arab countries but with slight variations. Read more…
Tactics for shopping: what kind of shopper are you?

Going shopping is more than just an act of consumerism – it’s a ritual. No matter how much you might say it’s only a hobby, it’s actually more of a sport. It’s not as easy, fun or haphazard as it might seem. The thing is, looking at clothes is quite entertaining, but deciding what to keep… well, that’s a completely different story.
I’m sure many of you, even if you’ve never stopped to think about it, follow the same pattern every time you leave the house to go shopping. So, if you have no idea yet what your “blood group” is when it comes to shopping, here you have an x-ray of different types of potential shoppers. Let’s see if you can identify with any of them…
